Exercise as medicine
for falls & injury rehab

Exercise Physiology for
Why Exercise Helps
Why structured reconditioning matters
Recovery doesn’t end when the pain stops

After a fall, injury or surgery there’s often a gap: acute care is finished, the pain has settled, but strength, mobility and confidence haven’t returned. Structured reconditioning closes that gap — rebuilding capacity progressively so the recovery actually completes instead of plateauing at ‘good enough’.

Reconditioning at your pace
Graded, not rushed

Rehabilitation is a process, not a single step. We rebuild strength, mobility and stability in careful progressions — enough challenge to drive recovery, never so much that it risks the setback happening again. Every session starts from where your body actually is that day.

Allied health, working as it should

Exercise physiology sits inside your care team. We work in with your physio’s or surgeon’s guidance, pick up where discharge left off, and report progress back where it’s useful. Medicare and DVA rebates may apply for eligible care plans.

Returning to Training
Back to the life the setback interrupted
Confidence comes back one session at a time

Expect a graded return to the things that matter — lifting, carrying, walking, gardening, sport — and a clear pathway onward to independent exercise or personal training once confidence is fully restored. The setback is a chapter, not the story.

Training that gives back more than it takes

Physically, expect steady reconditioning you can measure: strength, mobility and stability rebuilt in structured blocks, at a pace set by your body rather than the calendar.

Just as importantly, expect your confidence to be treated as part of the rehab. Trusting your body again is the real finish line, and every session is designed to move you toward it.
